Virtual staging FAQ
Is virtual staging allowed on the MLS?
Yes, in nearly every market, as long as it's disclosed. Every ListReadily download includes a “Virtually Staged” labeled, MLS-ready version, the original side by side, and a disclosure note, so your photos are ready for your MLS and built to support common disclosure rules. Always confirm your local MLS or board's specific wording.
Will the AI add features that aren't really there?
It's designed not to. Enhancement only corrects exposure, white balance, contrast, clarity, and noise, and never changes what's in the photo. Staging adds furniture and decor and is designed to preserve the property's existing walls, windows, doors, floors, built-ins, and views. Furniture removal has to reconstruct the areas that were hidden behind the furniture, so it infers those surfaces from what's visible. AI can still make mistakes, so compare every result against the original for layout and structural details before you publish.
Can ListReadily stage outdoor spaces?
Yes. ListReadily can stage outdoor living areas like patios, decks, balconies, poolside areas, and usable backyard seating areas. Outdoor staging adds removable furniture and decor only. It is designed not to change landscaping, pools, decking, siding, fencing, structures, neighboring buildings, or views. Broad front exteriors and non-stageable outdoor shots are better suited for enhancement only.
Can I remove the 'Virtually Staged' label?
Every download already includes both versions: a labeled, MLS-ready photo (with a disclosure note) and a clean, unlabeled copy. Plus the before/after. Use the labeled file for your MLS; the clean copy is there for your own marketing where you handle disclosure separately.
Who can see my photos, and do you train AI on them?
Your photos are yours. They're uploaded over an encrypted connection, used only to render your listing, and never sold or used to train models. Our guest tools don't store anything for guests, and stagings saved to your account are auto-deleted after 4 hours. See Security & Privacy for details.
What if a render comes out wrong?
There's no charge for failed generations: a credit is spent only when a render finishes, so a technical failure or a timeout costs you nothing. A finished render you don't love does use its credit, and running it again (Re-stage or Try again) is a new generation that uses another credit, so you always see the cost before you click. 1 credit = 1 finished photo (staged or furniture removed); enhancement is free.
Do I need an account to try it?
No account is needed to use the free photo enhancer. You can upload, enhance, and download an enhanced JPG without signing up. A free account is required for virtual staging and furniture removal, and includes 3 free render credits with no credit card required. 1 credit = 1 staged or furniture-removed photo; enhancement is always free.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Credits are sold in one-time packs: pay once, use them whenever you have a listing, and they never expire. There's nothing to cancel. If you're on one of our earlier monthly plans, it keeps working exactly as before until you choose to stop it from Manage billing; any prepaid credits you've bought stay on your account either way.
How long are my photos kept?
Stagings saved to your account are automatically deleted about 4 hours after they're created, so download what you need. Your credits are separate from your files: a credit balance stays on your account even after earlier files have expired.
